I had a busy weekend, a portrait session with a total cutie, look for those pictures soon, and The Bridal show! I had sooo much fun at the Bridal show today! It was great meeting all of the brides and vendors! The tables were all decorated so nice, with so much great wedding stuff for the brides to choose from! I picked out a few images to share, I will post some more soon. There was a wonderful fashion show, with awesome models and beautiful dresses. Can you say whoa, cake? What a great cake display! The show was exactly what it promised to be too. Even though we were always busy with someone visiting our table, we did get plenty of time to actually talk to the brides about their wedding plans and needs. It was like having mini consultations! Congrats to my door prize winner, she received a 5 day, 4 night trip to Florida! I'm sure she will have a blast!

Bridal Show! Free tickets for Brides!

Hello!
I have some very exciting news!
My new website is LIVE! YAY!
check it out at:
let me know what you think : )
I am also fortunate to be participating as an official vendor at a local bridal show! It's my first time, I've never even been to a bridal show! This one isn't as scary as some of the huge ones are, which will be nice for my first one! LOL! I am proud to say, I happily paid my registration fees, and I hope I get every dime back! Personally, I feel soliciting brides/clients at an expo/trade show, is not only illegal, but disrespectful to your peers, and very unprofessional. Vendors pay good money for their "booths"! Anyone who thinks it's o.k to solicit without paying the fees, should be ashamed of themselves, and isn't someone I would affiliate myself with.
Anyway, since I've never even checked one out, I am excited and nervous. Anyone have any good tips for me? My mother, who is a travel agent, has participated in some before, and she says some of the vendors go all out, with crazy stuff all over their tables, while others like to keep it pretty simple. I'm hoping to find a happy medium!
I have some free tickets for brides, let me know if you'd like one.
Maybe I will see you there! I do have a pretty awesome door prize!
Hint: {it's in Florida, and it's for 5 days} Did I mention my mom is a travel agent : )

Brandon is a senior! We were able to to a quick
session last week, look for more images soon!

Expecting!!!

aaaahhh! I am so excited about my first maternity
portrait session! I just picked out a few to share.
I'm sure I will add more, when I get through all
of them. Jessie is beautiful! And she was brave
enough to strip down to a sheet for me!!! YAY!

A big giant Thanks goes out to my good friend
Roslyn! She hosted the first Christmas Portrait Party! She set up her tree, and invited her famliy/friends over for holiday photos. We had so much fun! There were kids everywhere! And yes, they all wanted to open the decorative gift boxes!

Congrats Aaron!!!

We shot Aaron's Senior pics in his home town of Lancaster.
We had great weather, and a beautiful day. Aaron wanted to
include his car, and snowboard in his pics, and I think it really
shows off his personality. Despite his best efforts to look serious
at all times, I did manage to get smiles out of him! Congrats Aaron!!

Engagement

Here are few images from the engagement shoot last weekend. Beth and Doug have the cutest proposal story!
He arranged for his friends to help her plan a "surprise birthday party" for him at Buca Di Beppo. So with all of their friends and family present, he popped the question! The real surprise was for her! A big thanks goes out to Buca Di Beppo for allowing us to come in and take some shots. We also strolled around downtown for some outdoor pics. It was a beautiful day, and a little challenging-The Columbus Marathon was going on! There were people and runners everywhere! lol

Young

Here are a few images from a recent shoot I did with the Young family. Kylene (mom) wanted fun, fall photos of them playing and interacting together, with a few posed shots in between. There were swings and flowers and giggles all around!

Hockenbery Wedding

Scott and Julie's intimate autumn ceremony was at almost sunset, in a white gazebo, overlooking a calm lake!
The bride picked out such lovely fall colors to compliment the outdoor nuptials. And there was plenty of
Frank Sinatra playing at the reception....

So exciting to have downtown as a backdrop for a wedding! I considered toning down that blue sky, but I decided to leave it be. A fun group, and a beautiful, happy couple sure make the job easier!

Conner and Chloe

These two are best friends! They are adorable! And I think the farm was a great choice of location

Fannin Wedding

I love outdoor wedding photos! They had so many wonderful images, it was hard to decide which ones to share on the blog! I might add some more later! And what an adorable flower girl!!!
